An emotional evening of dance…

Dance show-27bw_small

Josie is a dance teacher. Every other year her dancing classes put on a show. 24 dances, performed by the kids, on stage, full lighting & music, packed audience of Mums, Dads, Grans, Grandads, Aunts and Uncles (and in our case a slightly reluctant teen brother…). The show is very slick and professional. Pride bursts out from the audience. But the best emotions are on the stage, writ large by the kids…

There is passion and beauty…

A big thank you to Josie. How wonderful to be responsible for all these emotions…

love it! I have a ten year old who dances. It’s about time I put up a few pictures, these are such fleeting moments.

Lovely post Victor. I know exactly how you feel. Proud parents as we are. My 12 year old son used to (sigh!) go to a dance school with a ballet / hip-hop class, he also used to play the guitar and piano. Now he’s doing karate and recently, he had to represent Britain and make a speech about the 1947 Air Lift Memorial of Berlin. He always makes me proud and I have thousands of course, but only a few go up online.
P.S. I really like black and white photos. 🙂

Dear Tom,  I have greatly enjoyed the latest set of pictures. I especially liked the empty beach. Have you tried looking just at the lower half, alone?  Immy on her toes is super, also. Near the end, I liked the triplets in white dresses, too.  In fact, the whole set is excellent               Love, as ever. AJP
